Eaton Connect transforms the CF Toronto Eaton Centre into an inclusive community hub by using hybrid service design to bridge the gap between commercial space and social belonging for new Canadians .




challenge.
New Canadians face three critical barriers: Navigation (complex multi-level mall layout), Belonging (lack of cultural connection in commercial spaces), and Accessibility (language barriers limiting participation). The challenge was to create a solution that works across physical and digital touchpoints without requiring English proficiency.
