Wonder Paw
about.
WonderPaw is an interactive learning ecosystem for ages 3-5. By applying Industrial Design principles to a digital interface, I created "Digital Tactility" using spring physics and haptic feedback to make screen interactions feel as grounded and responsive as physical toys. It moves away from overstimulation toward a calm, minimalist, and sensory-driven learning experience.

challenge.
Most children's apps are "loud" but "flat." They provide visual noise but lack the physical feedback that helps toddlers understand the world. My goal with WonderPaw was to solve the sensory gap in digital education. I faced the challenge of translating physical affordances like the squish of a toy or the resistance of water—into a touch-interface, ensuring the app felt like a tangible object of study rather than just another glowing screen.

results.
WonderPaw successfully transformed the flat tablet screen into a "digital sandbox" by replacing static UI with dynamic, physics-based interactions. The result is a high-fidelity learning ecosystem where 3D animals respond with realistic weight and haptic feedback, achieving a zero-learning-curve interface for non-literate children while setting a new standard for sensory-driven, minimalist digital education.
testimonial.
WonderPaw feels less like a screen and more like a living toy—it's the first time I've seen my child actually 'feel' the animals through the glass.
